XYSIL® FUMED SILICA
XYSIL® hydrophilic fumed silica is white, innoxious, insipid, amorphous fine chemical powder. XYSIL® fumed silica with features such as small particle size, large BET surface area, high surface activity and high purity. The original particle size can be 7 – 40 nm according to system setting, and the BET surface area is 100 – 400 m2/g. Because of Nanometer Effect, XYSIL fumed silica performs excellent nature of reinforcing, thickening, thixotropy, insulation, matting, resist sagging, and it is widely used in HTV silicone rubber and RTV silicone sealant, coating, painting, unsaturated polyester (UP), insulation material, adhesive & sealant, agriculture and medical macromolecule industrial fields.
Since 2006, Xunyu Chemical has been producing hydrophilic fumed silica and keeping researching and develping. Now the main grades of hydrophilic fumed silica is XYSIL® 150, XYSIL® 200, XYSIL® 300 and XYSIL® 380. Base on extensive experience of hydrophilic products, we developed hydrophobic grades to the market need. XYSIL® hydrophobic products is based on hydrophilic grades, after-treated with HMDS (hexamethyldisilazane) and DDS (Dimethyldichlorosilane), or structured modified. The main hydrophobic grades is XYSIL® R120, XYSIL® R170 and XYSIL® R200. Benefiting from our hydrophilic fumed silica project, we can provide high quality hydrophobic products at a competitive price. We are not looking for partner for hydrophobic products’ application research and marketing.
Since 2016, Xunyu Chem also developed and provide fumed alumina to the market. Fumed alumina is widely used in Lighting industry, powder coating, toner and photographic paper, etc.
